Are you looking to start your career in healthcare? Our team in Ballina are on the lookout for a Full Time Medical Receptionist to join them in providing the best service and care to our patients. 

 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in working within healthcare to access an entry level administration position, with no previous experience required. The position will include all training and support, ranging from data entry, records management and customer service, through to patient care, Radiology services and the Medicare system. This is a Full Time Permanent position, working 38 hours per week.

 

As a Medical Receptionist you will be providing support to patients, acting as the first point of contact to ensure a smooth experience for their appointments, both in person and over the phone. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the booking of appointments, records management, and working with referring medical practitioners.

We are looking for someone who:

You will be responsible for all reception duties:

  • Deliver high quality patient care when performing all administrative duties.
  • General administration duties, including taking incoming phone calls, responding to email enquiries, and accurate data entry skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and patient care, including greeting patients at the front desk, actioning referrals, and online enquiries.
  • Schedule radiology exam appointments, including XR, Ultrasound, CT, Mammogram, MRI and interventional procedures.
  • Patient record management in line with privacy and confidentiality policies.
  • Liasing with other receptionists, radiographers, sonographers, Radiologists, referring doctors and other medical professionals, in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Medicare, DVA and Work Cover billing and banking.
