Lumus Imaging is a comprehensive radiology practice located in Sydney's South West for over 35 years.
Our Bansktown practice is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art imaging technology including a GE 1.5T and 128 GE slice CT machine operated by a team of highly qualified and patient focus professionals.
We are currently looking for a fully accredited & experienced CT/MRI Radiographer to join this highly professional team on a full or part time basis, including trading hours between 7:00am – 5pm with Saturday shifts optional.
At this level you will be responsible for your own imaging quality, protocoling and productivity levels.
Responsibilities:

Performing MRI scans using GE 1.5T and/or 128 slice CT

Experience with full licensed/partial license MRI desirable

Providing a high standard of care and service to our patients and radiologists by displaying accurate, friendly, responsive, courteous and effective communication

Performing high quality diagnostic imaging examinations in compliance with protocols within nominated timeframes

Ensuring Workplace Health and Safety practices are understood and observed at all times in the workplace
Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in CT or MRI is preferable

Cannulation capabilities is essential
-
Experience with GE CT/MRI equipment is preferred

MRI Accreditation Level 1 / Post Graduate MRI Masters qualification

Experience with GE CT experience will be advantageous but not essential

Ability to work between the shift hours 7am-5pm

The ability to work autonomously and unsupervised

Superior communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated understanding of WH&S practices

University or equivalent qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology

Current Australian Institute of Radiography Statement of Accreditation or other qualification recognised within Australia

AHPRA Registration
