About The role

 

At Lumus Imaging, the Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and reputation of the diagnostic radiology services provided by Lumus Imaging through fostering strong, strategic partnerships with referring clinicians, healthcare providers, and medical practices.

The Relationship Manager acts as the key liaison between the Lumus Radiology and our referrer network, ensuring seamless communication, service excellence, and mutual value creation.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Referrer Engagement & Retention: Build and maintain trusted relationships with GPs, specialists, and allied health professionals to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with radiology services.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new referral opportunities, expand market presence, and support strategic initiatives to grow patient volumes.
  • Service Improvement: Gather feedback from referrers to inform operational enhancements, streamline referral pathways, and improve turnaround times and reporting quality.
  • Education & Support: Provide referrers with up-to-date information on imaging modalities, new technologies, and clinical protocols, including hosting CPD events and training sessions.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with internal teams to develop targeted campaigns, promotional materials, and digital content that highlight service offerings and innovations.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor referral trends, prepare performance reports, and use insights to guide strategic decisions and relationship strategies.
  • CRM Management: Maintain and update the CRM
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, administrative staff, and executive leadership to align business strategic goals with clinical excellence.
  • Territory Planning & Revenue Delivery: Plan and execute strategies to grow referrals and meet revenue targets within assigned regions.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and referral patterns to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Educational & Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate in the design and delivery of educational events, CPD programs, and marketing materials tailored to healthcare professionals. Ensure content is clinically relevant and supports referrer engagement.
  • Professional Development & Training: Actively participate in internal training programs and continuous learning initiatives to maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiology services, technologies, and industry best practices.

 

Role Competencies - Essential

  • Proven experience in relationship management, business development, healthcare liaison roles or customer service within the healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of radiology services and referral pathways.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

 

Role Competencies - Desirable

  • Tertiary qualification in Health Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in medical imaging, healthcare sales, or clinical liaison roles.
  • Familiarity with CPD event planning and healthcare marketing.
  • Knowledge of local healthcare networks and referral behaviours.
