Lumus Imaging is seeking an experienced Talent Manager to lead our workforce planning and performance strategies. This is a pivotal opportunity to shape the current and future workforce of a growing healthcare organisation committed to delivering safe, high-quality care.
As the Talent Manager, you’ll be responsible for designing and delivering integrated strategies across talent acquisition, retention, workforce planning, and performance development. This role ensures we have the right people, in the right roles, at the right time—aligned to clinical demand, organisational values, and health regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic workforce planning in partnership with executives and clinical leaders
- Use data and labour market trends to inform future service delivery and staffing models
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for critical and specialist roles across clinical and non-clinical areas
- Develop targeted attraction strategies, particularly for hard-to-fill and regional roles
- Oversee onboarding to ensure alignment with credentialing, compliance, and cultural expectations
- Design and implement a performance management framework that supports clinical and operational excellence
- Equip leaders with tools and training for effective performance conversations and staff development
- Support internal mobility, career pathways, and succession planning in partnership with L&D
- Maintain accurate workforce data to meet compliance, accreditation, and reporting requirements
- Ensure all practices align with regulatory bodies such as AHPRA and Working with Children Check standards
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Health Management, Industrial Relations or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior HR, workforce or talent management role, ideally in healthcare or community services
- Proven experience in strategic workforce planning, modelling, and analytics
- Strong background in developing and implementing performance and remuneration processes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and change management skills
- Proficiency in HRIS and workforce planning tools (e.g., Dayforce, Power BI, rostering systems)
- Desirable: experience working across regional or multi-site health services
- Familiarity with accreditation frameworks (AHPRA, ASAS, EPA, Nursing) is a plus
- Job evaluation certification (e.g., Mercer, Hay) and experience in clinical service planning are advantageous
