The Opportunity

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team at St. Vincent’s Northside, Chermside. This role is available as Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week) or Permanent Part-Time, with clinic hours between 6:00 am – 10:00 pm Monday to Friday, and 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.

 

As the first point of contact for patients and practitioners, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. If you enjoy working with people, have strong communication skills, and are confident using technology and systems, this role is for you!

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care
  • Book examinations across a variety of modalities including MRI and PET
  • Perform general clerical duties and patient record management
  • Handle Medicare billing and banking processes

 

About You

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (face-to-face and phone) is desirable
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to navigate various technology platforms and systems
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding patient experiences
