Lumus Imaging has an opportunity for a patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our Chermside site at St. Vincents Private Hospital Northside on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is a hybrid role combining working from home and working on site as a part of a larger team. 38 hour week with varying shifts between 6am-10pm Monday to Friday, and weekends between 7am-3.30pm (weekend shifts will have penalty rates).

As a Medical Receptionist you will play an essential role in the experience our patients have when they visit our clinic for medical imaging appointments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be providing reception services and acting as the first point of contact for patients and practitioners.

This role is ideal for someone who has previous experience collaborating with people both face to face and over the phone as well as being able to navigate various technology and systems.

You will be responsible for all reception duties including:

  • Customer service and care
  • Scheduling procedures and scans
  • General Clerical Duties
  • Patient record management
  • Medicare billing and banking
