The Lumus Imaging Northern Region is a collection of radiology sites around Epping, in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. It consists of 2 brand new hospital sites, the Northern Private Hospital and La Trobe Private hospital which between them offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional services including General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Mobiles and Theatre, Cath Lab and Vascular procedures, and interventional procedures. These brand new hospitals and imaging departments opened in Feb 2024 and boast state of the art equipment and beautiful, clean, environmentally friendly working environments. The imaging departments currently service mostly outpatient appointment bookings with some in-patient exams and interventional procedures from within the hospital which are expected to increase as the hospitals increase their patient load and as the consulting suites reach full tenancy in the coming months.

We also have outpatient departments at Epping Consulting Centre, Epping Plaza, and Greensborough hosting a range of services including MRI, CT, General Xray and OPG, giving our staff and great range of working environments and different experiences.

About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for new Radiography Graduates with excellent technical knowledge, and a passion for team work and customer service to join our friendly Radiography team working across our host of Radiology departments in our Northern Region.

As a graduate in this permanent full-time position, you will be provided with training across the different modalities and departments including CT and will gain greater confidence in your skills as you gain more experience with our friendly team guiding you along the way. Working hours are between 7am and 6pm and you will eventually join our shift work rosters giving you access to overtime and on call work. You will be mainly based at our private hospital departments but may also rotate through our other outpatient and medical centre sites in the local area.  We have a great friendly young team who are all committed to helping and teaching each other and working collaboratively, and who have a shared vision of providing the best care to our patients in the community.

Role requirements:

• University qualification in Medical Imaging
• Current Australian Institute of Radiography Statement of Accreditation
• AHPRA Registration and DHS radiation licence
• Comprehensive clinical experience as students during placements
• High standards of imaging quality and patient care  
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Flexibility to cover eventual shift work and on call requirements
• A focus on teamwork and working well with others.
