What we are looking for:
We’re after someone with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for healthcare. You’ll need to bring:
- Proven success in a CT Radiographer role for 3+ years, proficiently scanning a varied and complex case mix in a busy setting. Hospital experience highly desirable however not essential.
- A tertiary qualification in Diagnostic Radiography, along with AHPRA Registration and a NSW EPA Radiation Use License.
- A team-player mindset, willing to collaborate with both medical and non-medical staff.
- Ensure timely examinations by identifying workflow issues with the ability to quickly identify challenges and escalate to the Modality Head or Imaging Manager if required
- Identify and report on equipment and quality issues.
- Provide training to junior staff, mentoring intermediate CT users and overseeing students on clinical placement.
- Ensure staff compliance, staff productivity and allocation of staffing resources with regards to the triaging processes of patient and departmental needs
- Demonstrate a rigorous commitment to CPD in the radiography field and contribute to the dissemination of this information to the department.
- Troubleshooting of IT systems, equipment and PACS
This role is not suitable for New Graduate Radiographers
