About the Role
Lumus Imaging has an opportunity for an experienced and patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our team at Northern Beaches Hospital. This is a part-time position, working two days per week, with flexibility to provide additional shift cover when required.
As a Registered Nurse within our Medical Imaging service, you will play a key role in supporting patients and clinicians across a range of diagnostic procedures. You will work closely with Radiologists, Radiographers, and administrative teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing medical imaging procedures

Prepare and monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, including cannulation and contrast administration

Assist with sedation and recovery in accordance with clinical protocols

Monitor patient observations and respond appropriately to changes in condition

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with infection control standards

Support workflow efficiency in a fast-paced hospital environment

Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
About You

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Previous experience in acute care, procedural, perioperative, or medical imaging settings (highly regarded)

Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Flexible and reliable, with availability to pick up additional shifts as required
