We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Breast Sonographer to become an integral part of our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in early detection and diagnosis, working closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Training students and junior staff will play a large part in this role as well so we are looking for a team member with a passion for teaching.

Your expertise in breast imaging will contribute to providing accurate, timely, and compassionate care to our patients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality breast ultrasound scans with precision and attention to detail.
  • Training students and junior staff members
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and medical professionals to assist in diagnosis and interventional procedures.
  • Provide a calm and reassuring experience for patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of imaging results.
  • Stay ahead of industry advancements in breast imaging techniques and protocols

 

Requirements:

  • Accredited qualification in Medical Sonography (with a special interest in breast imaging).
  • Current ASAR registration.
  • Proven experience in breast sonography, with strong technical skills in conducting and interpreting ultrasound scans.
  • A patient-focused approach with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team.

 

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience assisting with breast interventional procedures (e.g., biopsies).
  • Passion for ongoing learning and professional development
