We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at St George Private Hospital. In this important patient-facing role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring every experience is welcoming, supportive, and seamless.

This position offers the opportunity to work across both St George Private Hospital and our stand-alone Lumus Imaging clinic just across the street, with flexibility to cover evening and weekend shifts.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Greeting patients and managing appointment bookings and enquiries with care and professionalism

• Maintaining accurate patient records and completing data entry

• Processing Medicare billing, payments, and end-of-day banking

• Supporting clinical staff to ensure smooth daily workflow and excellent patient care

• Managing multiple priorities in a busy healthcare environment

• Tech-savvy and confident using digital systems

• Organised, adaptable, and able to juggle competing tasks with ease

• Positive, proactive, and focused on providing great patient experiences

• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

• Previous healthcare or medical reception experience is highly regarded
