About the Role
We’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our Lumus Imaging team, working across our Leichhardt and Darlinghurst sites.
In this patient-facing role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and supported from the moment they arrive.
Enjoy working 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm with parking available at both sites or public transport at your doorstep.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing appointment bookings and patient enquiries with professionalism and empathy

• Maintaining accurate patient records and completing data entry

• Processing Medicare billing, payments, and handling end-of-day banking

• Assisting clinical staff to ensure a smooth workflow throughout the day

• Managing multiple priorities in a busy healthcare environment

What We’re Looking For

• Tech-savvy: Comfortable using digital systems and solving basic IT issues

• Organised & adaptable: Able to manage competing tasks with a calm, efficient approach

• Positive & proactive: Brings energy and a problem-solving mindset to the team

• Team-focused: Works well with others and is happy to lend a hand where needed

• Healthcare experience a plus: Previous work in medical reception or administration is highly regarded
