About the role
Lumus Imaging are hiring for a Permanent Full Time Medical Receptionist to join their team. This role is based in Meadowbrook and will require travel to other clinics, including Beenleigh, Browns Plains and Jimboomba to provide coverage when required. Our clinic hours are 8am - 5pm and the successful candidate will be rostered across Mon – Fri.
The successful candidate must have previous medical reception and admin and experience.
As a Medical Receptionist you will play an essential role in the experience our patients have when they visit our clinic for medical imaging appointments. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be providing reception services and acting as the first point of contact for patients and practitioners. This role is ideal for someone who has previous experience working with people both face to face and over the phone as well as being able to navigate various technology and systems.
Key responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and providing a professional and compassionate first impression
- Managing patient bookings, referrals, and enquiries (in person and via phone)
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records
- Processing Medicare, billing, and payment transactions
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic
About you
- Experience in a healthcare or medical reception/admin role is essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Confidence using computers and administrative systems
- A team-focused attitude with a genuine commitment to patient care
