Lumus Imaging is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Chief Radiographer to spearhead our teams at BUPA Docklands and BUPA Dandenong. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned supervisor looking to step up into a management role. We're looking for someone who has honed their skills and is now ready to lead.
Enjoy the stability of a full-time role with Lumus Imaging, taking charge of both BUPA Docklands and BUPA Dandenong, ensuring smooth operations and top-notch patient care. Oversee a team of 10 dedicated radiographers across both sites.
The work hours are flexible: Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM, plus weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday for those who like to keep busy! This role is perfect for a dedicated radiographer looking to make a significant difference.
Key accountabilities include:
- Plan and manage the daily technologist workforce requirements and productivity in the clinics by ensuring appropriate staff rostering, annual leave planning and managing sick and other leave as required
- Manage, develop, and mentor technologist staff and provide clinical guidance in both departments
- Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management of the Medical Imaging departments
- Provide quality improvement initiatives, and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes
- Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required
- Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with key referrers and hospital stakeholders
Key selection criteria:
- Ability to manage, coach and lead clinic staff
- Demonstrated ability to perform high quality medical imaging examinations employing correct techniques to the accepted industry standard or above
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing
- Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of Lumus Imaging.
- General X-ray is required
