The Role:

This role will partner with a range of P&C and business roles to support the stakeholder portfolio through multi- disciplinary and transformational change - impacting culture, talent, capability, performance, and operating efficiencies. With a strong focus on ER, this role will help deliver the P&C strategic plan locally, supporting specific P&C initiatives nationally as part of the matrixed team, and solving business specific challenges within the allocated portfolio.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Management capability uplift via L&OD interventions and training facilitation and support.
  • Drive the Talent review and succession management process, coaching for outcomes.
  • Implement appropriate management coaching around people leadership.
  • Change management, advocacy and coaching of change principles within the business.
  • Provide expertise around process and policies relating to employee relations matters to managers.
  • Talent Acquisition planning, guidance, and participation on key roles.
  • Implement and coach around our performance development framework.
  • Employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • P&C Project leadership or support.
  • Quality on-boarding and exit management support for core roles.
  • Remuneration / Benefits / Incentive process implementation, advice, and education.
  • Industrial relations (IR) governance and risk management and Employee Relations advice and education.
  • Operational and advisory support for people managers as required.
  • Provide interpretation and counsel to Line Management regarding policies, programs, and practices.
  • Develop and implement new processes and practices to meet organisational people risk management requirements.
  • Working with Line Management groups to build and implement P&C solutions in line with business needs.

 

 

About You:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related field)
  • Proven experience in Employee Relations
  • Proven experience of Change Management
  • Proven experience of facilitating Management Capability training
  • Strong Business/Commercial acumen
  • Experience of Presenting/Communicating information both internally & externally
  • Experience of Relationship Management (Internal/External stakeholders)
  • Ability to identify, support and execute HR’s strategy in relation to Talent Management and employee lifecycle
  • Ability to handle, analyse, interpret & communicate data effectively
  • Ability to develop and execute solutions to business challenges and influence strategic business decisions
  • Ability and interest in developing people, coaching and motivating staff to deliver desired performance, identifying high performers and providing staff with development opportunities
  • Ability to respond to shifts in the business environment, adapting when necessary
