Lumus Imaging, Northern Beaches Hospital, are looking for an experienced and confident Senior CT Radiographer who is looking to demonstrate their leadership skills in an interesting and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be able to provide high level support to our CT and Emergency Department teams and can demonstrate clinical excellence within each department. The ideal candidate would have 4+ years’ experience. Siemens CT experience would be an advantage.

Lumus, Northern Beaches Hospital offers a 24/7 imaging service and candidates would be expected to participate in working evenings, weekends, nights and on call.

This is a permanent, full time role, however we are open to candidates who fulfill the requirements of the role on a part time basis.

To be successful:

· Demonstrate a high level of initiative, good judgment and independence in problem solving.

· Experience in the acute hospital setting is strongly desirable.

Ensure the efficiency of the modality is maintained.

· Ensure timely examinations by identifying workflow issues with the ability to quickly identify challenges and escalate to the Modality Head or Imaging Manager if required

· Identify and report on equipment and quality issues.

· Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and proficiency in complex clinical situations and settings.

· Provide training to junior staff and mentoring intermediate CT users

· Ensure staff compliance, staff productivity and allocation of staffing resources with regards to the triaging processes of patient and departmental needs

· Demonstrate ability to supervise and be responsible for other radiographers and student radiographers and be able to supervise and assess their clinical experience.

· Demonstrate a rigorous commitment to CPD in the radiography field and contribute to the dissemination of this information to the department.

· Troubleshooting of IT systems, equipment and PACS

· Current AHPRA registration and NSW EPA Licence
