About the role:

Join Lumus Imaging as a Receptionist at our Radiology Receptions in Orange at the Bloomfield Medical Centre and Dudley Private Hospital and embark on a rewarding career where customer service and exceptional phone manner are valued. The Medical Receptionist is responsible for providing high-quality reception and administrative support within Lumus Imaging. This role ensures smooth and efficient functions, delivering excellent patient care and service. The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring their experience is positive and welcoming.  Candidates with strong customer service skills from administration, retail or hospitality backgrounds encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and considerate manner.
• Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and other communications promptly and professionally.
• Manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy laws.
• Process billing and payments, including Medicare and private health insurance and DVA claims.
• Coordinate with radiologists, technologists, and other health care professionals to ensure effective workflow.
