About the Role

Are you looking for a role that has no shift work, weekends or public holidays? 
Lumus Imaging at Bloomfield Medical Centre are looking to expand their team.  We are seeking a patient-focused, dynamic and team orientated Registered Nurse or EEN to work closely with our imaging team full time (part time applicants are also encouraged to apply).

About you: 

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team so you will be able to assist radiographers and sonographers with patient transfers and examination preparations;

 

  • Highly developed communication skills, both spoken and written and a positive self-directed attitude to your role;

 

  • Ability to provide procedural care and support including pre and post patient monitoring;
  • Performing duties in accordance with Company protocols and ensuring high attention to detail and quality when completing required documentation;
  • Coordinating, planning, scheduling and assisting our Radiologists with interventional procedures (training provided);
  • Ability to cannulate (essential);
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and current AHPRA Registration;
  • Relevant Working with Children checks.

 

Experience within Medical imaging, Emergency or Surgical scrub nursing is not essential however would be highly beneficial.  Full Radiology nursing training will be provided.
