About the Role
As an Imaging Manager, you'll be both a clinical expert and an operational leader, responsible for guiding technical and clerical staff, ensuring high-quality imaging services, and driving forward a safe and supportive workplace.
You'll manage the day-to-day operations of TWO sites, leading and supporting a multidisciplinary team. This hands-on role combines high level technical skills with compassionate leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and expert imaging services across multiple modalities.
- Manage the operational efficiency of the site, including rosters, staffing, and workflow.
- Drive clinical quality and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Nurture a positive team culture through mentoring, performance management, and professional development.
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling, stock control, billing, and reporting.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging Technology (or equivalent).
- AHPRA registration
- Willingness to manage two sites – Sutherland and Caringbah
- Current IV cannulation certification.
- Minimum 6 years’ post-graduate radiography experience.
- Proven leadership in a clinical setting
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge
- Sound understanding of RIS/PACS systems and Medicare billing practices.
