Network Administrator

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Network Administrator to join our Group IT division and play a critical role in maintaining and securing the backbone of our technology infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Network Administrator, you'll:

• Provide expert-level support across LAN, WAN (traditional & SD-WAN), and core data centre networks (VXLAN EVPN)
• Configure and deploy network security, including firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco)
• Monitor and maintain network health, performance, and uptime using SNMP-based platforms (AKIPS advantageous)
• Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support roster
• Deliver project-based solutions within scope, budget, and timelines
• Work collaboratively with IT and business stakeholders, including interstate travel for new site deployments

About you:

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or equivalent industry experience
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Fortinet NSE4 certification
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals

Experience

• Proven success in managing, monitoring, and maintaining secure enterprise networks
• Solid knowledge of routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching (VLANs, STP), and VXLAN/EVPN core switching
• Experience in Microsoft Azure deployments
• Ability to convert business requirements into network architecture
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and incident management
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to explain complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences
