Workflow Coordinator – RIS/PACS (NSW Hospital Contracts)

We're seeking a Workflow Coordinator to join our team supporting NSW Hospital RIS/PACS operations.
If you're experienced in radiology clinic workflows and thrive in a role that combines coordination, problem-solving, and service excellence this could be the role for you.

 

About the Role

As the Workflow Coordinator, you will play a necessary role in ensuring the efficient coordination of radiologist workflows across key NSW hospital contracts, delivering high-quality service for patients and referrers.

You’ll be the go-to person for daily troubleshooting, liaising with hospital staff, external vendors, and internal teams to manage reporting schedules and drive continuous improvement.

About you

  • Coordinate and optimise daily radiologist workflows to meet reporting KPIs for NSW hospital contracts.
  • Build relationships with radiologists, hospital staff, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Troubleshoot RIS/PACS and workflow issues, escalating to vendors or internal IT teams when required.
  • Proactively manage workload distribution, monitor unreported lists, and support backlog solution.

  • Analyse workflow and contract performance data to support planning and reporting and assist with implementation and support of workflow tools and systems.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience working in a radiology clinic (minimum 2 years in a clinical, clerical, or administration role).
  • Strong understanding of radiology workflows and IT systems (RIS/PACS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and working with performance data.
