Lumus Imaging are seeking a proactive, motivated, and experienced individual to join our Radiology clinic in Varsity Lakes as the Deputy Clerical In-Charge on a permanent full time basis. As Deputy Clerical In-Charge, you will support the Clerical In-Charge in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the radiology administrative team, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality clerical services that support efficient clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising and coordinating the work of clerical staff within the Radiology department.
- Support in staff rota management, training, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records in line with confidentiality policies.
- Act as a point of contact for queries from patients, clinicians, and other departments.
- Contribute to service improvements and help implement new systems and processes.
- Deputise for the Clerical In-Charge during absences.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, ideally within a healthcare or radiology setting.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to support a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
- Confidence in using hospital information systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate and patient-focused approach.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in supervising or mentoring staff.
- Previous experience in medical administration and reception
- Knowledge of RIS/PACS systems.
