About the role
Lumus Imaging is seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Chief Radiographer to join our dedicated medical imaging team at Knox Private Hospital. This is a genuine leadership opportunity for a skilled radiographer ready to take the next step in their career.
Reporting to the Chief Radiographer, you will play a pivotal role in leading day-to-day departmental operations, supporting a high-performing team and delivering exceptional imaging services to our patients and referring clinicians.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Chief Radiographer in all operational and clinical aspects of the department
- Provide clinical leadership across general X-ray, CT & MRI
- Coordinate and supervise staff, including rostering and student supervision
- Drive quality assurance, accreditation compliance and radiation safety programs
- Contribute to continuous improvement, policy development and best-practice protocols
Skills and experience
- Degree qualified radiographer with full AHPRA registration
- Minimum 5+ years of diagnostic imaging experience in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated leadership, senior clinical, or supervisory experience
- Broad multi-modality skills; CT and MRI experience highly regarded
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to patient-centred, high-quality care and continuous improvement
