Are you ready to take the lead and make an impact? you will oversee clinical operations, manage staff, and ensure high-quality patient care.  Your leadership will drive continuous improvement and foster a collaborative team culture. Spearhead our team at our newly acquired site Mercy Public Hospital in Werribee.  

This is a 12-month max term contract to in for a staff secondment, full time or part time will be considered radiology experience is desired. Shifts include Monday-Friday between 8am and 6pm with evening and weekend on-call coverage required.

Key accountabilities include: 

• Plan and manage the daily nurse workforce requirements and productivity in the clinics by ensuring appropriate staff rostering, annual leave planning and managing sick and other leave as required
• Manage, develop, and mentor staff and provide clinical guidance
• Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management of the Medical Imaging Procedures
• Provide quality improvement initiatives, and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes
• Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required
• Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with key referrers and hospital stakeholders

Key selection criteria:

• Ability to manage, coach and lead clinic staff including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing
• Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of Lumus Imaging.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operational processes.
• Promote a safe and supportive work environment.
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
