Lumus Imaging, with over 30 years of expertise and a commitment to empathetic patient care, is thrilled to offer full-time, part time or casual opportunities for Radiographers at our dynamic new site at Werribee Mercy Hospital.

Werribee Mercy Hospital, located just 25 km west of Melbourne on the Princes Highway, is a dynamic public general hospital offering a wide range of services, including surgical, maternity, orthopaedic, and a 24-hour emergency department. Since opening in January 1994, the hospital has grown rapidly to meet the needs of Melbourne’s fast-growing western suburbs. A new emergency department is currently underway with a view to have it completed late 2026, The expansion will increase treatment spaces from 33 to 67. This includes four new resuscitation bays, 16 short stay beds and 36 emergency care cubicles to care for a rapidly growing population.

This location features the Canon Aquilion Prime SP CT scanner, Philips X-ray machines, and new mobile X-ray and fluoroscopy units,. Additionally, a new emergency department is under construction, This will be a purpose built satellite department, creating an exciting environment for professional growth and efficiency.

To be successful:

 

  • Ability to participate general radiography including X-Ray, operating theatre, and CT
  •  Mammography  is desirable however not mandatory – training can be provided to interested staff
  • On call is required, staff will be on a 7 day rotating roaster with weekend shifts carrying an additional loading 
  • Demonstrated experience exceeding patient care and customer service delivery standards
  • University or equivalent qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology
  • Current AHPRA Registration and Vic radiation license
  • Understanding of relevant WHS practices.
  • Vaccinations including flu shot
  • Driver’s license
