Lumus Imaging is seeking expressions of interest for RANZCR accredited Radiologists to join our imaging team based in Werribee Mercy Public Hospital.

 

This role will suit a radiologist who enjoys a busy hospital environment with strong referrer interaction. Like any comprehensive hospital site, alongside a high emergency department load, modalities include CT, Ultrasound and Xray, Fluoroscopy and Nuclear Medicine. Offsite MRI reporting is also available for interested radiologists. This is a rare opportunity to have the mix of the interesting hospital work, combined with private clinics in the Lumus Imaging network. This location is suitable for a DWS candidate looking to be based close to a major city like Melbourne.

 

At Lumus we are committed to training and developing our Radiologists. Our Imaging Clinical Council provides clinical and professional guidance in radiology and assists with clinical reviews around safety, quality, and governance. The Clinical Council also provides input into strategic clinical planning, development, and technology.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

 

As part of Lumus, you will have access to state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment and be supported by a team of highly trained technical staff with access to colleagues through a nationwide RIS/PACS allowing mentoring and collaboration in subspecialist interests.

 

The ideal candidates will possess experience and expertise in some of the following specialties:

  • CT
  • MRI
  • Ultrasound
  • Interventional procedures
  • General Radiology
  • Paediatric Radiology
  • Mammography
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • PET
