About Us
QML Pathology is a Healius business. Healius has an expansive network of over 100 medical laboratories and 2000 patient collection centres operating across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. We provide 1 in every 3 pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia’s largest and most complex private and public hospitals, to small Indigenous Australian communities. What You Will Be Doing
As a Business Manager, you will lead a designated portfolio of sites across QLD, ensuring every site delivers a consistent, high-quality experience for patients and providers. This is a strategic and operational leadership role where you’ll combine commercial acumen with people leadership to achieve outstanding results.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Drive performance and growth for your portfolio by delivering revenue strategies aligned with national business goals.
- Lead commercial initiatives through targeted business development, operational improvements, and service enhancements to support patient satisfaction (NPS).
- Track and report on performance including revenue, profitability, and key operational metrics.
- Enhance patient and provider experience by embedding service standards and maintaining a compelling value proposition across all sites.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance with WHS, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams across a large, geographically dispersed network.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to translate national growth and transformation priorities into actionable regional plans.
- Oversee site development activities including planning, lease transitions, and CAPEX in line with the network plan.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Clinical, Operational, and Corporate teams to deliver integrated outcomes.
