Schedule: This position will be full-time and rostered hours will fall between 07:00am-05:00pm, Monday to Friday at the Murarrie Central Laboratory, with hours outside of these times needed, as determined by operational requirements.

 

This is a fulltime position -38 hours/week

We provide 1 in every 3 pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia’s largest and most complex private and public hospitals, to small Indigenous Australian communities.A vacancy currently exists for a Collections Technical Trainer to join our Collections Training Team at Murarrie. 

 

About the role

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Training new collection staff
  • Providing guidance to experienced collection staff and mentors
  • Providing advanced training to all collection staff 
  • Participating in our Duty Collector shifts

 

About you

To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:

  • Minimum 2 years of collection experience
  • A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
  • Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
  • Strong time management, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
  • Awareness and adherence to Collection processes and procedures
  • Previous Trainer and/or Leadership experience highly desirable

Vaccine Requirements

  • Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role
