An opportunity is currently available for an experienced Draftsperson to join our team on a part time, 6 month contract. This role is responsible for the interior design of our Accredited Collection Centres and Pathology Laboratories.
 

What You Will Be Doing

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate, support and partner with the Project Teams, State BDM’s, Collections centre Managers, Pathology area managers and Capital Development Manager.
  • Provide concept designs for future ACC’s and Laboratories to relevant stakeholders for approval.
  • Develop detailed floor plans suitable for submission for town planning and building permits.
  • Develop detailed floor plans suitable to be issued for construction to builders and sub-contractors.
  • Provide detailed design drawings for existing ACC’s & laboratories to enable compliant Medicare licence applications.
  • Other adhoc analysis and support as required

 


What Type of Person Will Be Successful

 

These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent demonstrated skill level for an Architectural Draftsperson.                               
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience post qualification ideally in a commercial design environment                                      
  • High level of competency using AutoCAD                                                                                                               
  • Ability to interpret complex floor plans                                                                                                  
  • Demonstrated skills required to convert simple sketched designs into high level CAD drawings.
  • Experience with 3D modelling and experience with project construction is desirable                                                                                    
  • Clear understanding of the NCC & ability to interpret relevant Australian Standards.                                                           
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
