Schedule: Various shifts between the hours of 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday, as required.

About the Role 

Our stores team ensures doctors, scientists, and collection centres have the supplies they need to deliver critical care across the community. As a Storeperson at QML Pathology, you will be playing a vital role in keeping healthcare services running smoothly and making a real difference in your every day work.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Picking and packing stock orders efficiently - making sure the right supplies reach the right place on time
  • Keeping our stores area organised and well-stocked - so that essential items are always on hand when needed
  • Assisting with regular stocktakes - helping us maintain accuracy and minimise disruptions
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace - supporting an efficient environment for the team

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with storeperson or warehouse experience who enjoys being on their feet, staying organised, and contributing to work that makes a difference in people’s lives.

 

About You 

You will be an experienced Storeperson ideally with Forklift operation skills or a keen interest to learn.

These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

  • A desire to work in a busy warehouse in picking and packing and/or storage of goods
  • Attention to detail and strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to maintain, and adhere to, safety guidelines in the workplace
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a group environment
  • Physically able to lift up to 10 kilograms with an acute awareness of safe warehouse practices to handle cartons of various sizes and lifting heavy weights
  • A current full (unrestricted) driver licence is required
  • A forklift licence is considered advantageous
  • Qualifications in warehousing, storage or distribution is considered advantageous
