About The Role:

We are currently seeking a Grade 1 Medical Scientist to join our service focused haematology team based at our Heidelberg laboratory. The laboratory offers a full range of Haematology-based assays including: FBE, Coagulation, Flow Cytometry, Blood Bank, Morphology, and Haemoglobinopathy Studies. Key responsibilities include:

• Liaising with external and internal clients
• Participating in quality assurance programmes
• General day-to-day laboratory operations

About You:

To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:

• An experienced Scientist, with experience in Special haematology and morphology are advantageous
• Holda Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• An eye for detail and accuracy in documentation
• Highly self motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Your flexibility with hours will be well regarded as this role covers a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
