About Us 

Genomic Diagnostics is a Healius business. Healius has an expansive network of over 100 medical laboratories and 2000 patient collection centres operating across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia.

What You Will Be Doing

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer to join our Genomic Diagnostics team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of accounts activities across Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, and month-end reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of financial processes while supporting internal teams, external stakeholders, and the broader business. 

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Perform day-to-day accounts duties across Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking, and month-end tasks.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and uphold confidentiality in line with privacy legislation.

  • Prioritise workload effectively and follow established procedures, policies, and WH&S standards.

  • Communicate clearly with staff, management, customers, and external stakeholders.

  • Participate in training, team meetings, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Process purchase orders, resolve purchasing errors, and support supplier-related enquiries.

  • Enter and verify supplier invoices, resolve discrepancies, and assist with AP reporting.

  • Process AR invoices, manage debtor collections, and perform account reconciliations.

  • Process and allocate payments, complete bank and prepayment reconciliations, and support month-end reporting.

  • Assist with onboarding and training of new staff and help resolve incorrect or incomplete client paperwork.
