About Us
You will be responsible for preparing consumable orders for dispatch to the appropriate areas and coordinating dispatch processes using the relevant computer systems. Accuracy, efficiency and teamwork are central to success in this role.
Position Requirements / Personal Attributes

Medium computer literacy to confidently process daily order requirements

Valid Australian Driver Licence

Forklift licence (preferred)
Key Result Areas / Accountabilities
-
Receipt of Inwards Goods — Unload trucks using a forklift, check and record deliveries, and place pallet stock into racks.

Order Preparation — Prepare orders for collection centres, doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and metropolitan/regional laboratories. Ensure accurate and timely dispatch while reducing supplementary orders and returns.

Internal Deliveries — Deliver orders to departments within the Main Laboratory, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

General Duties — Perform additional tasks aligned with your skills as directed by the supervisor/manager to support efficient Supply Department operations.

Professional Conduct — Maintain courteous behaviour, teamwork, and a tidy, secure workspace.

Use appropriate PPE, follow correct manual‑handling techniques, and maintain a safe workspace.

Incident Reporting — Report all incidents immediately and support team rehabilitation processes.

Quality Assurance Standards — Ensure all work aligns with required QA standards and organisational policies.

Report incidents or non‑conformances in line with CSP QAU 1306.
