What You Will Be Doing
A full-time opportunity currently exists within our Dorevich Commercial team for a Commercial Liaison Officer, based at our Head Office in Heidelberg.
This is an exciting, hands-on role where no two days are the same. Drawing on your strong administrative, quoting and bookkeeping experience, you’ll play a key role in supporting our commercial operations and driving business success.
Your ability to juggle multiple priorities, work collaboratively with internal teams, and deliver exceptional service to our clients will see you thrive in this fast-paced and rewarding position.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing proactive support to the B2B Manager
- Daily management of Government and private sector contracts
- Coordinating and responding to internal team and external client requests
- Preparing and managing quotes, invoices and agreements with precision and attention to detail
- Negotiating, upselling and maintaining commercial services to drive business growth
- Coordinating onsite client activities and service delivery
- Undertaking a range of administrative duties, including document preparation and record management
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

- Proven experience in bookkeeping, quoting and general administration
- A background in managing large private sector and Government contracts
- Expert problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box and find smart solutions
- Exceptional organisational abilities, with a natural talent for prioritising and meeting deadlines
- Five-star customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong professional relationships
- A collaborative team player who takes initiative and thrives under pressure
- The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and industry processes
- Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems, particularly ULTRA (advantageous, but not essential)
- Familiarity with Australian/New Zealand Standard 4308 (specimen collection and drug detection procedures) (advantageous)
