Dorevitch Pathology is a leading private provider of pathology and diagnostic services throughout Victoria. Our central Heidelberg laboratory is currently seeking an experienced team member to join our professional Data Entry team.

 

 

About The Role

Based at our Heidelberg Laboratory, we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated team member to join our professional and friendly Data Entry team.

 

Your Skills will include:

  • Proficient typing skills with the ability to touch type
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work to strict time constraints
  • Sound computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely data entry of pathology request forms
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies or incomplete information
  • Liaising with relevant stakeholders to obtain missing information
  • Providing ad-hoc administrative and clerical support as required

 

Requirements

  • Previous data entry experience is desirable but not essential
  • Availability to work a range of shifts up until midnight, including weekends and public holidays
  • Background or knowledge in pathology is desirable but not essential
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to privacy and confidentiality in a medical environment
