What You Wil Be Doing
Reporting into the National Clinical Trials Manager, the Clinical Trials Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating clinical trials in Victoria. You'll be playing an important role in developing and executing the set up and processing of clinical trial pathology testing for key clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the National Clinical Trials Manager with the implementation of awarded clinical trials
- Act as the first point of contact for clinical trial clients with a customer focused attitude
- Resolve and/or escalate client issues or complaints are they arise
- Ensure timely reporting and delivery of results to clients
- Maintain storage of samples post analysis, and facilitate retrieval as per clients request.
- Identify new opportunities to grow business/revenue through current and new referrers
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and Client KPIs
- Ensure strategic communication plans for internal and external stakeholders are implemented
- Attending marketing conferences and events if required
You will meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in specimen processing within a pathology laboratory
- Excellent understanding of pathology testing and associated specimen requirements
- High level understanding of pathology laboratory operations, including urgent and priority processing workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight KPIs, and effectively project manage tasks
- High level of attention to detail, with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a small team, fostering strong team cohesion and contributing to continuous improvement
- Proficient computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor of Biomedical Science or an equivalent qualification is desirable
- Proven ability to collaborate, motivate and lead colleagues to meet KPIs
