Genomic Diagnostics is the national genomics laboratory for Healius Pathology. We provide comprehensive genomic testing, spanning reproductive health, inherited disease, pharmacogenomics, and oncology to an extensive network of public and private hospitals and community referrers across Australia. Our primary focus is to provide high quality and timely genomic information to assist in diagnosis and clinical decision-making.
An opportunity is currently available to for a Customer Service Officer to join our Genomic's team in Heidelburg in to provide administration, customer care and case management functions to support the business.
What You Will Be Doing
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Perform and maintain customer care work practices in receipt of customer, doctor & patient enquiries.
- Assist with marketing related tasks.
- Assist with various customer care tasks with the focus being on teamwork.
- Answer phones and triage calls for distribution to appropriate team members.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with privacy legislation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Manage time effectively and prioritise work within established routines, methods, and procedures.
- Work cooperatively as part of the customer care team and wider Genomic Diagnostics team
