What You’ll Be Doing

As a Commercial Pathology Collector, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing drug and alcohol testing and other pathology collections on-site and on-call

  • Participating in a 24/7 rotating on-call roster (with full support and training)

  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and documentation accuracy

  • Preparing and packaging specimens in accordance with regulatory guidelines

  • Liaising professionally with clients, clinic staff, couriers, and internal teams

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and procedures


Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • Certificate III in Pathology Collection (or relevant collection experience)

  • Previous experience with onsite or commercial collections (highly desirable)

  • A strong sense of responsibility and independence, with the ability to work unsupervised

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients at all levels

  • A valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (essential)

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and on-call as part of a rotating roster

  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • Current work rights in Australia


Vaccination Requirements

  • Evidence of Hepatitis B immunisation is required

  • Additional vaccinations may be required depending on client/site
