About the position:
WDP and Vetpath have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Officer to join our busy Quality department in Jandakot. This is a full time position, working 76 hours per fortnight. The role is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in the promotion of a culture of quality management and quality improvement processes at both WDP and Vetpath via the implementation and maintenance of NATA, NPAAC, and RCPA accreditation requirements.
About you
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- Bachelor of Medical Science (Desirable) or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- A strong understanding of the ISO 15189:2012, ISO 17025:2017, AS/NZS 4308:2008 and AS 4760:2006 & 2019.
- Relevant working experience in quality management or similar role.
- Self-motivated; a well-organised individual, with excellent management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform work with a high degree of precision and accuracy.
- Strong communication computer literacy skills with a diverse team that may be geographically spread.
- Working effectively with team/work group or those outside the formal line of authority (e.g. peers, customers and suppliers).
- Quality experience in Pathology laboratory environment (essential)
