About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Rostering Officer to join our busy team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in workforce planning and staff scheduling across a large collection network of over 450 team members.

You’ll be responsible for creating, maintaining, and adjusting rosters using a computerised rostering system (Kronos Workforce Dimensions), ensuring that planned and unplanned staffing needs are met in a timely and efficient way.

This is a like-for-like replacement role, helping cover leave periods within a small team of four Rostering Officers.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate, efficient rosters at least six (6) weeks in advance

  • Manage all updates to rosters due to personal leave, shift swaps or unforeseen changes

  • Maintain and update staff profiles in Workforce Dimensions (WFD)

  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry of all roster changes

  • Communicate clearly and courteously with internal stakeholders

  • Manage shift vacancies quickly and appropriately, including casual and reliever usage

  • Apply relevant Award conditions and workplace agreements when scheduling

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team and Collection Lead when coverage is not achievable


 

About You:

  • Previous experience in roster coordination, workforce planning, or administration

  • Strong working knowledge of electronic rostering systems – Kronos WFD highly desirable

  • Solid understanding of the healthcare sector or other large-scale, fast-paced environments

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

  • Working knowledge of relevant Awards and rostering compliance
