What You Will Be Doing

Our central Heidelberg Laboratory is currently seeking an experienced team member to join our professional ECG team. As part of our ECG Department, you will be responsible for the coordination, entry, and processing of cardiac diagnostic data including ECGs, Holter monitors, blood pressure monitors, and spirometry tests. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent organisational skills, a high level of accuracy, and strong communication.


Your key responsibilities will include:

The roles and responsibilities of this role will include:

 

• Download and upload Holter and BP monitor data via Cardioscan
• Enter and validate results in the LIS system
• Fax results and ECG traces to referring doctors
• Prioritize and process cases according to urgency assigned by cardiologists
• Liaise with clinics and confirm receipt of critical results
• Coordinate the distribution of Holter monitors for mobile collectors
• Follow up on missing traces and incomplete submissions

 

What Type of Person Will Be Successful

These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

• Previous experience in a medical, pathology, or diagnostics setting preferred
• Strong data entry and administrative skills
• Ability to prioritize workloads and handle urgent cases efficiently
• High attention to detail and strong follow-through
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with Cardioscan is an advantage
