Genomic Diagnostics is the national genomics laboratory for Healius Pathology providing comprehensive genomic testing, spanning reproductive health, inherited disease, and pharmacogenomic to an extensive network of public and private hospitals, and community referrers across Australia. Our primary focus is to provide high quality and timely genomic information to assist in diagnosis and clinical decision-making.
Why You Will Be Excited About This Role
This newly created role is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes. This includes managing sales data, preparing reports, coordinating customer communications, tracking inventory, and assisting with the preparation and execution of sales activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external clients.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assist with conducting market analysis for each product/product category and identifying the associated revenue opportunity.
- Assist with mapping of competitor pricing and strategy
- Assist with the development of training programs and GTM marketing collateral.
- Assist the sales team with managing customer accounts, sales inquiries, and orders.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of sales orders, quotations, and contracts.
- Coordinate and track sales leads, ensuring follow-up on opportunities.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with customer information, sales activity, and follow-up details.
- Prepare and distribute sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required by the sales team or management.
- Organise and schedule meetings, presentations, and client visits for the sales team. Increase referrer base in line with predefined KPIs
What Type of Person Will Be Successful

- Healthcare experience highly desirable
- Bachelor’s Degree – Science, Marketing or Commerce Degree would be preferable
- Experience supporting a Sales / business development team
- Excellent communication, organisation & IT skills.
- Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail
