What You’ll Be Doing

 

Reporting into the People & Culture Manager, you’ll partner with leaders across the business to deliver practical, commercial and people-centred solutions across the employee lifecycle.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with senior leaders to drive the strategic people agenda aligned to business goals and organisational priorities
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with leadership teams to develop and deliver people plans that support strategy execution
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing practical advice and support across all people and culture matters
  • Lead and support workforce planning, leadership capability uplift, performance, talent and succession planning activities
  • Drive change management initiatives and continuous improvement to embed effective ways of working
  • Champion employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives that enhance performance and retention
  • Provide employee and industrial relations advice, interpret legislation and agreements, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements

 

 

What Type of Person Will Be Successful

 

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced People & Culture professional with demonstrated business partnering experience in a large organisation. You are comfortable advising leaders on people, performance, workforce and change matters, and applying legislation, policy and people data to support sound decision‑making.

 

You will ideally bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a People & Culture / HR role with a strong focus on business partnering
  • Experience supporting leaders with performance management, workforce planning, talent and change initiatives
  • Proven ability to coach and influence leaders, and constructively challenge where required
  • Strong employee relations and industrial relations experience, including interpretation of legislation and agreements
  • Sound working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and relevant employment legislation
  • Ability to analyse people data and metrics to inform recommendations and measure impact
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across a range of stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
