What You Will Be Doing
This National Product Manager – Diagnostics role plays a key part in promoting and growing a portfolio of diagnostic solutions, encompassing cardiac monitoring and other patient-connected diagnostic devices, as well as national responsibility for the Vaccine portfolio.
Working closely with key stakeholders across medical centres, specialists, commercial clients, and internal teams, you will develop strong relationships, monitor performance, respond to queries, and lead the development and execution of strategic business plans to achieve commercial revenue targets across multiple states.
This role offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to drive product success across a national collection centre footprint of over 1,900 sites. You will be instrumental in shaping the diagnostic product roadmap, evaluating and onboarding new diagnostic technologies, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating cross-functionally to promote, deliver, and scale solutions to clinicians and patients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute national strategies for product launches, portfolio expansion, and ongoing sales campaigns across diagnostic and vaccine services
- Lead the strategic assessment, review, and integration of new diagnostic devices into the portfolio, including patient-connected technologies that require deployment, retrieval, and clinical processing
- Develop and manage a national network plan of collection centres providing cardiac monitoring and other diagnostic services
- Take full commercial ownership of the Vaccine portfolio nationally, including revenue performance, marketing strategy, and growth initiatives across multiple states
- Partner closely with marketing, sales, operations, courier/logistics (cold chain), clinical, and data teams to ensure seamless execution, compliance, and scalability of diagnostic and vaccine services
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop strategies to capitalise on them across both diagnostics and vaccines
- Analyse patient feedback, market trends, and competitive offerings to continuously refine the portfolio and ensure relevance, clinical value, and commercial performance
- Ensure all technologies and services are fit for purpose, operationally scalable, and market-leading
- Secure profitable, long-term commercial arrangements with device and service vendors to grow market share across diagnostic categories
- Work with legal, regulatory, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to healthcare industry standards, cold chain requirements, and clinical governance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, monitoring and managing contract performance and resolving issues as they arise
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, marketing, and legal teams on financial planning, pricing strategy, regulatory compliance, and promotional activity
- Take full ownership of portfolio P&L, including revenue generation, cost management, and profitability
- Set pricing strategies in collaboration with finance and commercial revenue teams to ensure competitive positioning and sustainable margins

- Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in Science, Healthcare, or Business
- Proven experience in product management, business development, or strategic sales and marketing, ideally within healthcare or diagnostics
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate new technologies, identify market gaps, and drive portfolio expansion
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to manage revenue growth, budgets, and competing priorities
- Highly developed negotiation and strategic skills with a commercial, outcomes-focused mindset
- Experience working with third-party vendors, including contract negotiation, performance management, and compliance
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, presentation, and influencing skills, with a strong client-centred approach
- Proven success influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver change, secure resources, and scale national initiatives
- Comfortable operating in a high-autonomy, high-impact national role spanning diagnostics, logistics, marketing, and commercial performance
