What You Will Be Doing

The Role

Genomics is the largest growth area in Healthcare and due to the company's rapid growth, we have an opportunity for an experienced Genomics Specialist Business Development Manager to join the team. Reporting into the Sales Manager - Genomics, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for executing the Sales & Marketing Strategies for the Genomic Diagnostics product range.

 

By establishing strong relationships with Specialists & KOLs within your allocated territory, the key objectives of your role will be to execute your territory business plan to achieve the set commercial revenue target, drive business development and to grow brand awareness of Genomic Diagnostics. There will be some regional travel depending on demand and the opportunity, possibly once a quarter however the focus is the Metro area.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver outstanding service to capture new and retain existing referrers in line with the territory plan and Genomic Diagnostic strategies • Manage and develop current referrer relationships, whilst delivering on current sales & marketing strategies

• Perform market research and identify new opportunities to grow business/revenue through current and new referrers

• Collaborate effectively with the State Revenue Team to drive and create new revenue opportunities.

• Regular face-to-face sales meetings with doctors

• Utilise consultative selling skills to identify customer needs and to delivery versatile, unique solutions during sales calls

• Record daily activities in the Salesforce CRM tool

• Organise and attend promotional events and conferences with referrers and external stakeholders

• Support the implementation of key programs which differentiate and enhance Genomic Diagnostics’ positioning in the healthcare market

 

What Type of Person Will Be Successful

These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

 

Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in the Healthcare/Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical Industries

• Demonstrated sales experience with a history of achieving and surpassing sales targets in healthcare

• Current Drivers Licence is essential • Demonstrated sales experience with a history of achieving and surpassing sales targets in healthcare

• Proficient computer literacy in applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and CRM tools (Salesforce)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly
