About the role
The Method Validation Scientist is responsible for the design, execution, and documentation of analytical method validations in accordance with regulatory guidelines and internal quality systems. This role ensures that all laboratory methods used for testing and analysis are scientifically sound, robust, and compliant with relevant regulatory requirements:
- Develop, plan, and execute method validation protocols for new and existing analytical methods
- Perform method transfer, verification, and qualification activities across laboratories and/or manufacturing sites
- Prepare and review validation protocols, summary reports, SOPs, and technical documentation
- Perform troubleshooting and optimisation of analytical methods where required
- Participate in audits and provide support during regulatory inspections
- Maintain accurate records, data integrity, and compliance with laboratory standards
- Provide technical support and training to junior analysts where appropriate
About you
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Sciences or related field
- Proficiency in analytical techniques relevant to the role
- Strong understanding of validation parameters(accuracy, precision, linearity, robustness, specificity etc)
- Experience in a diagnostic laboratory is desirable
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and accountability
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to team performance.
- Knowledge of quality assurance systems and scientific instrumentation and equipmen
- Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety processes and procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork
- High level of data integrity and ethical conduct
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
