Healius has an expansive network of over 100 medical laboratories and 2000 patient collection centres operating across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. What You Will Be Doing

Reporting into the State Manager, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue generation and business development across their respective areas. You’ll be playing an important role in developing and executing of our revenue strategies. 


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the State Manager with the implementation of the Pathology Revenue strategies
  • Maintaining our Accredited Collection Centre network through lease negotiation & strategic placements
  • Self-managing and leading revenue focus campaigns, executing revenue strategy
  • Developing deep understanding of targeted market, monitoring market behaviour, attending marketing conferences and events
  • Ensuring strategic communication plans for internal and external stakeholders are implemented
  • Providing direction and focus to Medical Liaison Officers to maintain current and growing client base


What Type of Person Will Be Successful

These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

  • 3+ years working in Business Development, ideally in a similar industry
  • The ability to uncover market gaps, drive innovation, collaborate and lead
  • Good analytical ability to develop, problem-solving skills to manage revenue and budget initiatives
  • Strong negotiation and strategic skills to manage and grow Collection Centre network
  • The ability to inspire and guide others (Medical Liaison Officers) to succeed, supporting and facilitating resources for effective marketing activities
