What You Will Be Doing
As a Hospital Reliever Collector (Phlebotomist), you’ll report to the Hospital Collector Lead and work across multiple hospital wards – including Emergency, ICU, Paediatrics, Maternity and more – as well as covering shifts in community clinics as needed.
Your responsibilities include:
- Collecting blood and non-blood samples with care and accuracy
- Liaising with doctors, nurses and patients
- Providing advanced collection support (paediatrics, difficult bleeds, AGBs)
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Travelling across sites to cover rostered and unplanned absences

You will be an experienced Pathology Collector
You will have:
- Certificate III in Pathology Collection and demonstrated experience
- Excellent communication and empathy with a patient-centred approach
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Valid Driver’s Licence and flexibility to travel across multiple sites
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid work rights in Australia
