What You Will Be Doing

This position is primarily responsible for creating accurate and efficient rosters for all Collectors and filling planned and unplanned vacancies across the Collector Network in a timely and appropriate manner. This is achieved through the utilisation of a computerised rostering system. You will work in a team of 4 whislt reporting to the State Collections Rostering & Training Lead.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring rosters within designated area are available at least six (6) weeks in advance of the current date
  • Creating and maintain staff profiles in Workforce Dimensions and ensure they accurately reflect position, hours, award, area, and shift
  • Ensuring timely and accurate data entry on WFD of any changes to shifts
  • Ensuring all updates or changes to rosters due to personal leave, shift swap requests or other unforeseen requirements are actioned in WFD
  • Ensuring all communications are attended to in a positive and courteous manner providing accurate and appropriate information if requested
  • The timely, accurate and appropriate management of vacancies within Collections
  • Monitoring of casual employees: availability recorded, numbers of declined shifts and variability of areas/shifts worked
  • Ensuring Reliever Collectors are utilised to the full extent of their contracted hours within the most efficient radius of their nominated hub
  • Work closely and liaise with Commercial Team, and Collection Lead as soon as possible if vacancies cannot be filled or only partially filled


What Type of Person Will Be Successful

 

These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

  • Relevant experience with electronic rostering systems, Kronos Work Force Dimensions ideal
  • Sound knowledge and experience in health industry
  • Strong communication skills, ability to adapt communication style based on the needs of the audience.
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload and multi-task to ensure work requirements are completed within expected timeframes.
  • Working knowledge of and the ability to apply Award conditions when shift rostering.
  • Minimum 2 years rostering experience
