Working closely with Revenue Assurance, Accounts Receivable and commercial stakeholders, you will contribute to revenue integrity while helping ensure contractual and legislative obligations are met.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

The ADF Billing Support Officer provides day‑to‑day operational support to ensure all ADF‑related pathology services are billed accurately and in accordance with contractual agreements and applicable Commonwealth and State legislation. The role focuses on billing correction, validation of pathology request forms and escalation of issues to support timely and accurate revenue outcomes.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Review ADF pathology request forms to ensure accurate and compliant billing
  • Monitor and audit ADF billing activity to confirm accuracy and revenue integrity
  • Identify, correct and re‑issue inaccurate billing, including Xtend and Suspend errors
  • Support revenue integrity activities, including audits and error correction
  • Escalate billing issues to the ADF Billing Coordinator as required
  • Work closely with Revenue Assurance, Accounts Receivable and operational stakeholders
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable ageing (ATB) for overdue ADF accounts with the AR Collections Lead
  • Identify opportunities for billing standardisation across ADF accounts
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of billing workflows and documentation
  • Maintain strong relationships with ADF Accounts teams to resolve billing and account queries promptly
  • Maintain communication channels with Commercial teams to ensure ADF accounts remain under control
  • Engage regularly with Billing, AR Collections, Banking and Masterdata Leads

You are a detail‑focused and collaborative professional who enjoys working in a structured, compliance‑driven environment. You take pride in billing accuracy, proactively identify issues and communicate clearly with stakeholders to achieve timely resolution.

 

You will ideally bring:

  • Billing experience within an Australian pathology organisation (desirable)
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team environment
  • Exposure to billing or finance systems
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in healthcare or pathology billing (desirable)
  • AU Citizen or Perm Resident
